5 Healthy Snack Ideas

The following are delicious, healthy, and quick snack ideas. Preparing these snacks will take you less than 10 minutes to prepare in your kitchen.
1. Almond butter and an apple. Any fruit is delicious for a snack. Almond butter is added to the apple to provide a good source of protein. Protein added will satisfy your appetite and hunger until your next meal.
2. Raw Vegetables and Hummus. I love celery and bean dip(hummus). A very satisfying and healthy snack.
3. Roasted Chickpeas. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse chickpeas. Dry the chickpeas, and then place on a cooking sheet, toss chickpeas with olive oil and salt. Roast for 20-30 minutes.
4. Kale Chips. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Wash Kale and dry off. Cut into 1 1/2 inches and place on a cooking sheet. Toss with olive oil and salt, and bake until crisp. Turn over the leaves halfway through and cook for 20 minutes. Be careful not to overcook because it could burn the leaves.
5. Yogurt with Granola. To make this dish is very easy. Put yogurt into a glass, and top with granola, then spoon in the glass more yogurt, and next add a sprinkle of granola. Continue this pattern of layering until the granola topping has reached the top of the glass. You can use nonfat yogurt, Greek yogurt, or non-dairy yogurt.
